We were proud to partner on the newly built Whataburger location in Springfield, Missouri, completed in May 2023. Our role? Powder coating the aluminum awnings that greet guests as they roll through the drive-thru or step inside for a bite.

These signature orange awnings aren’t just a design choice, they’re a key part of the brand’s visual identity. That meant the finish had to be just right: vibrant, consistent, and tough enough to stand up to sun, rain, and everyday wear.

Each awning goest through a detailed prep process: washing, oven drying, sanding, and blowing off dust particles. From there, it’s powder coated and returned to the oven to cure, hardening the powder into a durable shell that is great for exterior features. We offer AAMA 2604 & 2605 compliant coatings, engineered to hold their color and withstand the elements year after year. Powder coating is the ideal solution for parts exposed to constant UV rays and harsh weather.
